Greetings!
Photo day is just around the corner, and I’m thrilled to invite your child to participate in my upcoming Model Call portrait session.
My name is Inbal, a professional photographer based in Costa del Sol for the past 14 years, specializing in family photography and personal branding.
I’m passionate about capturing each child’s unique personality and genuine expressions. In exchange for using these portraits in the marketing of my new project, you’ll receive 2 beautiful, timeless images of your child.
Fun is the first priority! In my sessions, everyone is encouraged to enjoy, laugh, and feel at ease. There’s no need for forced smiles or poses—children are encouraged to be themselves, allowing me to “capture their soul,” as I like to say.
The style will be simple and classic, with a black background to highlight your child’s unique features and expressions.
Choosing the right outfit for your child can make a big difference in how their portrait turns out. As your portrait photographer, I’m here to guide you in selecting the perfect attire to ensure your child’s photo looks timeless and beautiful.
For Fine Art Portraits, solid colors are ideal. They help keep the focus on your child’s face and expressions, creating a classic look that remains timeless as trends change. Avoid bright or neon colors, as these can reflect oddly on skin tones and distract from your child’s natural beauty.
Since all shots are shoulder-up, the focus is on the top part of your child’s outfit. Choose a comfortable top, as a relaxed child is more likely to show genuine expressions. Classic collars or simple necklines that frame the face work best. Consider soft textures—like a knitted sweater or smooth cotton shirt—that add interest without overpowering the photo. Be sure the top fits well, as a good fit helps keep the look polished.
Hats and large bows may look cute, but they can overshadow your child’s face in a portrait. It’s best to avoid these, as they may create shadows or obscure facial features. Keep hair accessories simple and functional rather than decorative.
Make sure your child’s hair is neat and out of their eyes, allowing us to capture their full expressions and ensure a clear, polished look. A simple hairstyle complements the classic nature of the portrait without adding distractions.
Avoid tops with logos, graphics, or bold patterns, as these can distract from the focus of the portrait—your child’s expressions. Bright or neon colors can also create unflattering shadows on the face, so it’s better to opt for subdued shades.
